  3. Enter the company’s details, at least its name, in the form. All default fields are described below. If your organisation’s settings are customised, the form that you see may include different fields.

    • Name

    • Type The type of the company in relation to your organisation, for example, Client or Supplier.

    • Website

    • Responsible person The person from your company who is responsible for cooperation with the company. Broker Site Manager can send the responsible person automatic reports on tasks and projects whose client the company is.

    • Address name For example Acme Inc’s visiting address or Acme Inc’s billing address. Each address has a name because Broker Site Manager stores addresses separately from the company. This lets you use the same address in other records as well, for example in person records that are related to the company.

    • Street

    • City

    • Postal code

    • Country

    • Phone

    • Fax

    • VAT number The company’s VAT identification number . VAT numbers must be unique: no two company records can have the same VAT number.

    • ERP code The company’s identifier in an external ERP system. An ERP code is only required if Broker Site Manager is configured to send data to an external system.

    • EDI identifier The company’s EDI (electronic data interchange) identifier.

    • Memo You can write notes about the company in its memo, for example their invoicing instructions.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click Add.
